Sooryavanshi Postponed Again: Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn Starrer May Release Later Due To Covid Resurgence
It looks like fans of Rohit Shetty’s cops universe would have to wait a little longer to see Akshay Kumar in khaki action in Sooryavanshi.

The unexpected spike in Coronova cases in Mumbai and Maharashtra has just claimed a major casualty. The release of Sooryavanshi has been postponed again. The producers were all set to release the long-awaited film on April 2. But now with the rapid rise in Covid cases again, and night curfew being clamped down on parts of Maharashtra, the release has again been postponed.

Sources close to the project say a final decision on the release was never taken.

“The producers never announced April 2 as the release date of Sooryavanshi. It was one of the dates being discussed. Finally, they dropped the date when the Covid cases shot up again,” says a source in the know.

The upshot is, more delay, more patience required from both the producers and the audience.
